Radio Free Song Club
Hi listeners. My record “Rain on the City” has been out for six weeks
now, and is getting lots of love. Thanks for the welcome back. I’m
down at SXSW in Austin. Check out me and the band at Momo’s on 3/19.
I’m now a part of the Radio Free Song Club (http://radiofreesongclub.com/),
a group of songwriters who put on one internet broadcast per month, with a new
song per month. Nicholas Hill and Kate Jacobs founded the club, and
members include Victoria Williams, Laura Cantrell, Dave Schramm, Peter
Holsapple and many more…

Hello Music Fans!
Click on the video link above to see a video of “The Kind of Love We’re In” co-starring Sparky the Bobble Head Dog. I hope you enjoy it. It was shot by my friends Peter Feldman and Rob Smiley in New York City.
Also check out three tracks from Rain on the City, the title track, plus “Venus Is Her Name” and “Don’t Fall in Love with a Lonely Girl”. Rain On The City will be available next Tuesday Jan 12, but if you like you can pre-order the album now and download a digital copy, right here, on my website!

Hello there Friend
My new album, Rain on the City, will be out on January 12th on BarNone Records. Been a long time, been a long time, been a long lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely time… as the Zep put it. But now we move on. This record was produced by Richard McLaurin at Nashville’s House of David studio. Three tracks are uploaded to the MySpace page for your listening pleasure.
I’m back at the IOTA in Arlington on Dec. 20. One of my favorite clubs on the route. Stephen’s holiday party the night before may still be going on by set time. If I’m wearing a Santa’s elf hat that will be why.
But, Christmas Night itself will be celebrated at the Blue Lounge in Wichita. With band (Wayne Gottstine, Steve Hatfield, Ron Smith). What else are you going to do on this night, sit around and make small talk with the relatives? Please. 614 W. Douglas is my suggestion. Next night, we take the show to the Bottleneck in Lawrence. Come to both shows and you’ll have guaranteed* good luck in ‘10.
all the best,
Freedy
